Kate Andres
From KVAL
SALEM, Ore. -- Police are hoping the public can help find a Salem mother
who has gone missing and was likely despondent about financial issues.
Kate Andres, 36, was last seen at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when she dropped
her four children off at her sister-in-law's house in Tualatin. Andres
told her sister-in-law she was going to the bank, but Andres never
returned. The children range in age from 2-8 years.
Andres' husband, Devin, told officers from the Marion County Sheriff's
Office his wife had been despondent over financial matters and that he
was concerned about her mental state. The Andres family lives north of
Salem in a rural area on Wheatland Road North.
Andres is described as a white female who stands 5-foot-4 and weighs 115
pounds. She has strawberry blond hair that she usually wears in a
ponytail. Devin Andres said his wife dresses conservatively.
Kate Andres was last seen driving a 1999 gold Plymouth Voyager, with
Oregon license: WTW 584. The van is stock, with no unusual wheels,
markings or decals.
Police said they've learned Andres may have driven to the coast or the
Medford area. Local law enforcement agencies have been alerted.
Anyone with information as to Andres' whereabouts should email Marion County Sheriff's Office deputy Ron Cereghino (refer: case # 12-13749) or you can call Devin Andres directly at 503-851-5824 . His email address is devin@entiabio.com
This blog has been created to increase awareness of Missing persons in Oregon. After doing some research we have found that most Oregon Missing Persons don't even make the nightly news. The key to finding these folks is awareness. One of these people could be standing next to you at the grocery store, or you could have information about a person that you didn't even realize was relevant. You might not even know this person has been missing. This page is still under construction.
